These terms of service apply to the Iceland Local app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Magnús Ólafsson (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service.
By downloading or using the Application, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully before using the Application.
The Service Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Application, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Application.
All intellectual property rights in the Application, including but not limited to trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, belong to the Service Provider. These terms do not grant you any rights to use the Service Provider's trademarks, logos, or other brand features.
The Application uses artificial intelligence to generate audio content and recommendations. While the Service Provider strives for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. The Service Provider does not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of any AI-generated content. You acknowledge that such content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
The Application uses location services to provide location-based audio content. You are responsible for your own safety while using the Application. The Service Provider is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur while you are following directions or exploring locations suggested by the Application. Always be aware of your surroundings.
The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Service Provider does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
In no event shall the Service Provider be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Application.
The Service Provider may terminate or suspend your access to the Application at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Application will immediately cease.
The Service Provider may update these Terms of Service from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
